🤎 YOU ARE WELCOME IN THESE SPACES 🤎
My background
I’ve spent my life devoted to somatic exploration — first through sixteen years of dance training, and now with over a decade of daily practice to yoga. My teaching practice is rooted in these lineages, while honoring the body as a unique vessel for healing, beauty, and transformation.
My classes focus on cultivating the self-awareness to listen to our bodies so we move intuitively from a place of authenticity and honesty. I hope to create spaces where we can unlearn the disconnect between body, mind, and spirit, and instead learn to love and listen to the innate wisdom that resides deeply within.

A movement practice blending intuitive exploration with intentional alignment, Embodied Yoga Flow invites you to honor your body’s wisdom and unique expression through movement. Expect flowing sequences designed to challenge, inspire, and create space for authenticity and connection. Everyone is welcome!

There is a river above the river
like the dreaming
or the breathing of the river– Ursula Le Guin
Ursula Le Guin speaks of “the river above the river”—the energetic current flowing across the surface, the overcurrent. In yoga, the overcurrent is the outward expression of physical energy: the flow of movement between asanas, the sound of breath in our lungs. The overcurrent is like the aura of our practice – unique, ephemeral, and individual to all of us.
But beneath this river flows another current—the undercurrent. The undercurrent is a quieter, subtler energy that moves through the body on a deeper level, moving us from within. In order to tap into this river below the river, we must dive in, submerge ourselves in the hidden, the felt, the unseen. While the overcurrent is the spirit of the practice; the undercurrent is the soul.
Held on the first Saturday of the month, The Undercurrent is a playful swim into the soul of your practice. Each month will be a unique exploration of different themes and poses, breaking them down to their simplest (and therefore, most complex) forms. We will dance between both the overcurrent and the undercurrent – exploring the dynamic between the subtle body and self-expression.
Dance Party (Third Wednesdays)

Not your regular contact jam! We’ll begin our practice with a grounding movement meditation, connecting first to ourselves, our bodies, and the floor. This flow will transform into a dance party jam session -- a Sweat-It-Roll-It-Dance-It-All-Out celebration! Come for the dance vibes, stay for the sick playlist!
Things to Note:
This practice provides a hint more structure than a CI jam, and a hint less structure than a workshop/class.
You might sweat!
You might say, Oh my gosh how did this very grounded movement meditation transform into such a hopping and bopping vibe?
We’ll start promptly at 6:30pm with an opening circle, though you’re welcome to trickle in afterward (please be mindful of those already immersed in their movement meditation)
My values as a teacher: F.L.O.W.
-
Foundation
I am first and foremost a student of yoga and dance, disciplines rooted in profound and complex lineages. I share what I have learned from two decades of somatic exploration with reverence for the teachers and cultures who paved the way and joy for the students who will carry these traditions forward.
-
Listening
Teaching is a dialogue of communal learning—a reciprocal exchange where growth happens on both sides. By attuning to my students, I strive to cultivate an environment where we inspire and learn from one another through shared connection.
-
Offering
Teaching is a gift and a practice of service. I am honored to hold space for people wherever and however they arrive. My intention is to facilitate supportive environments and open spaces for authenticity so we can foster and collectively embrace growth, community, and belonging.
-
Wonder
Teaching is an invitation to wonder in awe at the beauty and mystery of the body, nature, and the world. My teaching is always warm, often playful, occasionally hilarious, and on average a celebration of the creativity, energy, and inspiration movement brings to our existence on earth.
